Hi my name is Derrek Scanlon and I am the co-owner of Colibri Gardens Organic Farm and Homesteading School out of Washougal Washington. I am here today because I am very excited to have an orthodontic appliance installed into my mouth. The reason I am having that done is because I have had a number of problems with sleeping. I have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and I have had a lot of difficulties with insomnia over the last 24 years. So I am excited at the possibility at having my airway expanded in order to breathe better. That is the primary reason and the proof will be in the putting, but I am really excited at the possibility of having better breathing at night. I have had a number of health complications over the years and so I am hoping this will be the fix for that issue.
